Beautiful, Tranquil Bushveld

Beautiful setting in the bush. Total privacy. Amazing walks in nature with stunning sights and game to see. But the best is the absolute tranquility with only the sounds of the bush. Had a great time with our dogs and really connected with each other and nature.

A beautiful retreat in the wild where you can hear the silence...this absolute 5 star setup is surrounded by nature. Andrew and Nikki have created a very special and well thought out design that wants for nothing.. lovely walks and a myriad of things to discover like sunset platforms, picnic sites, waterholes and so much more that appeals to all ages. A lovely place to recharge your batteries and get get away from the noise of the world.

Wonderful Weekend!

I had the most wonderful weekend in peace and quiet. The unit has everything you need (and more). Being able to take my dogs was incredible - they loved it! I ordered a breakfast basket and cannot recommend it enough - incredible! I will be back to explore the property further!

Family Holiday

Thank you to Nikki and her Team at Izintaba for a wonderful holiday.
Our stay at Giraffe Cottage was the perfect way to welcome in the New Year. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. The huge veranda is a great place to sit, enjoy the bush and watch impala stroll by.
We loved exploring the reserve on foot with the children and dogs and had fun identifying tracks and watching the animals. Sundowners at the picnic spot by the dam were another highlight.
We highly recommend Izintaba and hope to visit again soon.

A Most Enjoyable Stay!

A most enjoyable stay relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The rain brought relief from the heat - so was most welcome! The Waterberg is certainly an area to be experienced - will be back to explore further....

What a privilege!

What a privilege to visit Izintaba! A special word of thanks for allowing our child, Rolo ( miniature Daschund) to accompany us. Game in abundance and Elsa saw her beloved Giraffes as well as a small tortoise. We also love that you allow guests to do self drives and hikes. The bush cottage was cleverly designed and well maintained. Emmanuel and staff were unobtrusive and competent (excellent). An experience never to forget! See you in May 2025

Food for the Soul

Izintaba is a very well maintained game reserve where everything is just so easy - the roads are easy to use, the cottages equipped with all you need, the service from cleaning and maintenance staff excellent! Our favourite part was that the cottages have large natural gardens that are fenced, and walk ways for on-leash hikes, making it haven for bush lovers and well-trained pups!

Another Wonderful Stay!

Such a well equipped cottage! Thank You! Cycled, hiked and indoor fireplace and absolute bonus in the chilly weather. So nice to have our dogs with us as well.

We have arrived back in Pretoria , very sad to have left Duiker cottage behind!! Thank you for a wonderful stay 

We have, without any arrogance, done the full circle from owing a game farm twice, owned houses on Private Game reserves and visited some of the best lodges in SA.

Our few days (too few!!) at Izintaba must rate as one of the very best we have had- everything just gelled for us.
