We have been many times to Izintaba , we have tried a few other bush escapes, none of which compare to Izintaba . The walks . MTB trails , game viewing , quietness , value for money , hosts and sunsets are just brilliant .

Izintaba is definitely our favourite place to be, also for my dog! The cottage is so well equipped and lovely decorated, the fenced garden is huge, the hikes fabulous! We saw so much wildlife while we were walking. A delicious 2 course dinner was delivered every evening at the cottage by the friendly owners Andrew and Nikki, we were feeling so spoiled! I love it that there is no WiFi at the cottage (it is available at the boma), you can really leave the 'real world' behind for a while. Highly recommended!

• Bushbuck Cottage

Hi Nikki, All we can say is thankyou for a fantastic time and the fact that we could take our dog with was great. The fact that there are large spaces between the cottages and the quiteness of the bushveld and privacy was great, plus the fact that the faciity has a large number of game and birds. Its a walkers paradise.

• Guineafowl Cottage

Izintaba is a great place to get out the city and enjoy the bush. There is quite a bit of planes game and we saw a lot of it. We rented out most of the places which are walking distances from each other. Although there is no cell signal there is WiFi and this adds to the experiece of the bush. It’s really nice to be able to run, cycle and walk around and the game is relaxed and the bush is nice. I would highly reccomend it to individuals, large groups and families. It’s great value for money and a great option and so we will be back.

From check in to check out everything was perfect, service, food, and all the rooms very clean. Also Very friendly staff and service. The location is perfect for the "get away from the busy City life".

What an amazing stay. Absolutely beautiful place with such attention to detail. We were a large group of 19 and everyone had the best time. Nikki and Andrew went out of their way to be the perfect hosts. The Boma dinner was such an awesome experience with delicious and decadent food. We will definitely be back.

It is lovely to find places that are really pet friendly and don't just tolerate them.
The walking trails, fenced accommodation and swimming pool are all dog friendly. There are plenty of game around the areas with water. The accommodation is very private and good for a long weekend getaway. There are some attention to details that makes the stay more comfortable, like a very effective fridge and freezer. The accommodation has everything you need and is very spacious. It is a nice short getaway to the bush to forget about everything.

Absolute luxury in the bushveld. We stayed in Duiker and had 100% privacy. The accommodation is superb, we loved everything about it, especially all the comfortable furniture and the shower that accommodates tall persons. Sophia, our Foxie, turned out to be a real "bushveld" dog. We enjoyed our own game drives (we saw so many animals), hikes, table tennis, canoeing, reading, braaing, stoep sitting, the peace and quiet and and and. The daily cleaning of the chalet was a treat. Love the fact that there is no shop nearby. Saggruis made us feel very welcome. He seems like a wonderful person to have a braai with so that you can listen to all his tales. A real gem, hopefully we can visit again - soon.
