General Information:

Refunds:

• For normal weekends and weekdays, deposits will be refunded when a booking is cancelled 2 weeks prior to the scheduled date of arrival or when an equivalent replacement booking can be obtained.

• For long weekends, Easter, Christmas and New Year, 4 weeks notice of cancellation or an equivalent replacement booking is required for the deposit to be refunded.

• No refund for no-shows or early departure.

Check-in/out times:

Normal check-in time is after 14h00 and check-out time is 10h00. Earlier or later times by prior arrangement only.

Servicing of Lodges:

Our standard tariff includes servicing once a day from Monday to Saturday, but not on Sundays or public Holidays. Where guests require servicing on those days, this can be arranged at an additional cost. This must be requested where possible at the time of confirmation of the booking.

Ready prepared meals:

It is possible to order ready-prepared meals such as lasagne, quiches, braai-packs, poitjies and desserts aswell as picnic breakfast baskets. Orders must preferably be placed at time of confirmation of booking and will be delivered to your cottage on a daily basis. Please enquire about menus.

Game Drive/Bush Braai:

A 2-3 hour guided game drive followed by a 3 course dinner at our bush braai site around a raging bonfire under an African sky. Must be booked in advance, minimum of 4 people

Game Drives and Bush Walks:

Although you are welcome to do your own game drives and bush walks, guided game drives and walks can be booked at an additional cost of R50 per person

Other:

There is limited cell phone reception.

To ensure the peace and quiet which our guests expect when in the bush, there are no T.V's in the lodges. However, guests are very welcome to watch the main sports events on the TV at the main house reception.

Tariffs for 2009 (per person per night)

* Bookings must be a minimum of 2 nights on a normal weekend and 3 nights on a long weekend, otherwise minimum rates apply. See below.

* The minimum rate is for the house for the total booking, 2 nights on a normal weekend and 3 nights on a long weekend. It only applies if the total pppn rate does not exceed the minimum rate.

Special Rates:

Infants 0-2 years, not occupying a bed: No charge

Children 3-12 years: Less 50%

Pensioners, over 65 with ID: Less 10% during low season

Deposits:

Deposits to be made within 2 working days of confirmation to secure reservation.

Midweek and weekend bookings: 50% of total booking cost to secure booking, balance payable on arrival.

Long weekends, Easter, Christmas and New years: 50% of total booking cost to secure reservation, balance payable one week before arrival.
